At around *70% volume with Dirac Audio enabled*...the CMF Buds 2A deliver an excellent listening experience — balanced bass, clear vocals, and crisp treble. However, once the volume goes up to 90–100% the bass completely disappears and the ...sound becomes overly sharp and harsh which makes listening uncomfortable.
It would be much better if the maximum output volume were slightly reduced through a firmware update...while maintaining the same bass depth, vocal clarity, and treble balance.... that’s present at 70%. The buds are already loud enough at 80%..so users don’t need extreme loudness — they need consistent sound quality across all levels.
Right now, I personally enjoy them most at 70% volume, but if someone tries them for the first time at 100%, they might not buy them after hearing that harsh sound. This is a serious issue that should be addressed through a firmware update to ...restore proper bass response and reduce sharpness at higher volumes... .... I had attached some screenshot that I'm using on latest update with these eq
