Hi everyone,

I’d like to suggest adding a Pitch Black Mode (true black UI) as an option alongside the current dark mode.

Many users, including myself, have noticed tint issues or uneven backgrounds on certain displays when using dark mode, especially on OLED panels. A pitch black background would not only reduce this issue but also help save battery and offer a cleaner, more uniform look.

It would be great if this could be added as a toggle under display or theme settings, so users can choose based on their preference and display quality.

Is anyone else noticing this issue with the current dark mode? Would love to hear your thoughts!

When I heard of the NOS 3.1, I immediately thought we would get a new update on the older phones (np(2)) and we still didn’t get a camera update so here’s what I’m expecting from the next camera update :

A better document mode (similar to the one on Xiaomi phones)
The new NOS 3.0 camera UI
Better compatibility with the nothing gallery app
A nothing gallery editor

I wish there was an alternative way to invoke the “circle and find” feature when the bottom bar is off in the gesture control settings.

I don’t want to use the navigation bar, but I want to use the circle and find feature.

I’d like to request an Emergency Bypass feature for Nothing Phone, similar to iOS. This would let selected contacts reach me even when my phone is on Silent or Do Not Disturb. It’s a crucial feature for emergencies and peace of mind, and many users would benefit from it.

I’d like to request a feature that allows users to whitelist apps or lock them in Recents, so they can continue running in the background without being closed by the system. This would be especially helpful for apps like music players, fitness trackers, and other essential background services.

The idea is similar to “Lock in Recents” on some Android devices, where users can lock an app in memory so the system doesn’t close it. This way, users can choose which apps stay alive without constantly being killed to save battery.

Nothing os is one of the better os out in Android because of its look and features but I think we need more features which is collaborated with the gliff interface like optimizing more applications with gliff interface and add more features in the os .
