PruthviRaj_fyvI72qEj3 No need of copying of others concepts. Physical buttons are enough.
DharmarajDeb no please that’s worse. nothing os has it’s own uniqueness and if they did it, it’d seem right away copied from realme ui or oxygen os so no
plus there are physical buttons for that why need ts
Since Android 5.0, so that’s 2015 and it predates Nothing in general, literally every relevant OEM has that slider in their OS variant, including Meizu in their Flyme OS. Even Apple added it to their iOS Control Center and, shocking I know, iPhones have physical buttons too:
“Control Center on iPhone gives you instant access to useful controls—including Airplane Mode, Do Not Disturb, flashlight, volume, screen brightness, and more.”

But some people here are simply refusing to have basic functionality, like with that volume slider - which by default exists in Android, Nothing’s choice was to remove it from Nothing OS.
What makes it worse is that actually the volume slider is still there, but it has to be activated via physical button(s):

So, long story short:
When Nothing directly copies Samsung and their Bixby button for Nothing’s Essential Space - that’s all good, that’s ruthless innovation 😎✅👍
When Nothing directly copies Asus and their AniMe Vision matrix for Nothing’s Glyph Matrix - that’s also good, nothing but unstoppable innovation and pure uniqueness 😎✅👍
When someone suggests a very useful software toggle/slider - then some people don’t want Nothing to “copy that”, as that would mean losing uniqueness 🤮❌👎
I mean, by that magnificent logic just remove every toggle, like why is “Sound and vibration” necessary at all to have there when you can access that also via physical keys? Why Airplane mode toggle when that one is accessible through the power button? Why… you name it.
“nO NeEd tO CoPy oThErS! pHySiCaL BuTtOnS ArE EnOuGh!”
The more and more I’m questioning if some people around here are actually people at all…
