Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand if my CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 is tracking calories correctly or if something might be off with the readings.
Here’s what I’ve observed so far:
Today: 6,802 steps > 592 kcal total
Included workouts: 1.82 km (121 kcal) + 0.86 km (68 kcal) = 189 kcal for ~4,123 steps
What confuses me is that the calorie count rises faster than the step count
I even tested it by keeping my hand completely still for 10 minutes: the calorie number didn’t move, so it doesn’t seem to count resting or passive calories.
Could anyone confirm:
Does the CMF Watch Pro 2 calculate calories only from steps/distance, or also from heart-rate and intensity?
Should the daily total include resting (basal) calories, or only active burn?
Are others seeing similarly high daily calorie numbers even with modest step counts?
I just want to validate whether these readings are normal for this model or if I might have a faulty unit that needs a warranty check.
Device: CMF Watch Pro 2 (latest firmware)
Any input from other users would be really helpful - just want to make sure my watch is behaving as expected before contacting support.
