Why does switching lens change the colors in Photo mode but not in Video?

When taking photos on my 3a, 1-1.9x shots with auto tone look the best, and as soon as I hit 2x it suddenly becomes dull. But in video, it's always the latter at all zoom levels. Does the 1x lens not support video and hence the other lens is being used?

Anonymous1004 i think it's more of a processing/tuning issue… almost every lense and sensor needs different calibration and post processing algorithms… you can try different camera apps and try if the issue is present or not…

I've just tried to replicate your observation.

For me the camera software definitely switches between lenses, with a obvious shift in color while recording a video.

It might be that for some reason, the lens didn't switch between the main and telephoto sensor in your case.

I am on OS 3.2 on Phone 3a (8+128GB)

Camera Version is 15.0.01.14.46

JP FabioR 🇩🇪 I just tried it, in 60 fps mode only the camera on the right side (1x main) is utilised. In 30 fps it switches the lenses

I'll be using 60 fps from now on then 👍
