Hearing aids support - NothingOS

Hello people, I have the following problem with my hearing aids (child hearing aids Asha Protocol) unfortunately it no longer works reliably after the Android 14 update. I also re-paired the hearing aids several times, without success. I would be very grateful if this problem was resolved. Because I depend on it. Thanks in advance.

My dad uses have Nothing Phone 2 and recently experienced major issue with new Signia hearing aid. Issue is during the normal phone call - cant connect with bluetooth properly . To make it work, need to shift from hearing device to phone and back to hearing device. The problem is only with Nothing phone and not with other phone. This is confirmed by google pixel 8a. No such issues with it. I also faced same issue with Resound hearing aid- I guess anything uses ASHA protocol . May be Nothing OS does something as most of the hearing device is not supported. These are two major manufractures and both has issues with Nothing. No issues with other devices. In my opinion is Nothing should contact these companies at the earliest and sort this out.

I’m having sound issues with my Starkey hearing aides on Nothing Phone 3

The issue is when I open my music player Poweramp or VLC. The music starts and I can hear it fine but then within 20 seconds of starting the sound slowly goes quiet to a point where I can barely hear it.

I have tried adjusting the sound levels through my hearing aides app (Thrive) without success.

The strange thing is if I go to the sound controls and increase the ring volume it will temporarily go louder for about 5 seconds

Any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix it

Hello,

I’m a recent user of Nothing Phone (3) and I was wondering if any of you had an experience with Hearing Aids Compatibility. A friend of mine is using Widex Moment app for Widex SMARTRIC and would like to know if Nothing Phone (3) would be fully compatible.

I usesignia hearing aid but seems my Nothing 2 has some connectivity issues.I can hear voice during phone call but other person doesn’t hear my voice.The microphone doesn’t work while connected to hearing aid.Other phone like Samsung do not have any such issue.ASHA Compatibility is incomplete with Nothing phones.
