I found a preset for the wavelet on Reddit.

tbh, I’m not a big fan of this EQ because I like a more aggressive sound. But, I don’t like all other shared EQ for the original nothing app as well 😃 So even with a free version of wavelet you can adjust EQ, and it works fine.

V-mod eq in Nothing X app with even more enhanced bass in wavelet. I quite like it:

Honestly, wavelet can only do that much, and won’t really give the deep sub bass back. The only thing I found helpful for a decent bass was on PC with EqualizerAPO and Peaceful UI. But this only works on a cabled connection tho.

I’ve been starting to write “fix headphone (1)” on every yt video they upload (only social I got outside Reddit).

It’s just sad what this radio silence is doing to Nothing.

IlyaAliev this week. I think there is a possibility that he receive lot of messages and can’t reply to everyone. So i’m happy if he can do something about this issue (and in reality it’s not even only about the issue, it’s more about the lack of simple communication from Nothing. )

Wow they edited a bunch of comments. I guess Carl isn’t aware of the issues and they are just trying to hide it. Typical big company/corporate behaviour. And here they claim that they care for their customers/community. Atleast if it was any other big company that makes audio gears and the issue was related to the software and not the hardware then. It would have been fixed within a month.

kislay companies follow basic procedure for complain escalation.. you can’t reach ceo for a normal problem… it has to go up through food chain… 🤷🏻

If you posts/comments are repetitive and doens’t convey info or message, it will got deleted or edited…

People should thankful that ceo of company is engaging in this type of conversation

JP nobody would post repetitive comments, if the issue, that already takes months to fix, would have been somehow moderated. This is all because silence on the subject and frustration of the customers. Customers are not the problem.

JP The problem isn’t so much about updating the headphones anymore it’s that the company officially acknowledged the issue, released a beta update, and then went completely silent for two months. There’s been absolutely no information about whether that update will ever be finalized. I still don’t understand: is version .80 considered the final firmware, and will .81 ever come out of beta at all?

It’s important to distinguish between:

The problem with the headphones themselves
The problem with the complete lack of transparency and the company’s silence about future updates

That’s why we’re tagging Carl to address the second problem.

Patience all, I am sure the Beta shall be released at some point. I too am excited for better Bass in my headphones.

Clearly there is an issue, otherwise it would be publicly available.
I also do not know what issues there may be with the KEF Partnership, they may require their (KEF) engineers to sign off. I have never owned a KEF product before my Headphone (1), so I do not know their update timelines, or usual business models.

For everyone, may I remind you of the Rules you agreed to when you signed up to the Forum, notably Number 6: “Avoid tagging, messaging or replying to staff or moderators repeatedly and/or unnecessarily. If there is a nothing.community related issue that you believe needs our urgent attention, please flag the relevant messages using the flag tool.”.

Tagging Carl over and over again will only get your messages edited or deleted. The Moderators are merely following the rules you have all agreed to follow, don’t blame them and then openly tag them when you disagree.
