Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Nothing phones for a while, and while I love the hardware and Nothing OS, I always felt like custom wallpapers struggled to match the device’s unique, monochrome aesthetic. So, I spent some time building a redesign Wallpaper Studio: Wallpaper Studio Pro.

This is my personal passion project, and I’m sharing it with the community completely free of charge.

What is it?

It’s an AI-powered tool designed specifically to generate sleek, minimalist, and deep-black wallpapers (perfect for your AMOLED screen) with a UI that feels right at home on a Nothing Phone.

100% Free: No subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls. Just pure customization.
Nothing OS Aesthetics: The app’s design is stripped back, clean, and uses a dark-mode-first approach with the signature pill-shaped elements you see in the screenshot.
AI Generator: You can either choose styles same as Nothing Wallpaper Studio or can type your own prompt the app generates a high-resolution, monochrome wallpaper.

Ifham9 Bro, this is really cool. I was testing the web version on the computer and I didn’t want to say that I found bugs. It’s better to describe them as improvements.

The buttons to change the genre and style don’t always react well. Sometimes you have to press the button several times to change it. Yes, I saw the hotkeys there, but not everyone uses them.
It would be better to also give the buttons “View Full”, “Download”, and “x” (to close) hotkeys.
After editing the prompt, if I don’t close the editing window. Then I change the style or genre, or even both, when creating the image, it will be generated based on the prompt and not on the genre/style. Yes, it’s good so the user doesn’t lose their prompt, but it would be better if, when the user has manually changed the prompt and then changes the genre/style, a modal window pops up asking them to copy the prompt or something similar.
If I create an image and then press R - random, the random genre and style won’t be visible because the image I just created before pressing ‘R’ is covering it.
UPD 1: One more thing: I already changed the prompt once and closed it. But then, when I wanted to look at the prompt for a different image, the old prompt that created it did not change to the new one. Because of this, I couldn’t view the new prompt and edit it.

Is it possible to reduce the sluggishness ?

I am on nothing phone 3a, and the site is a bit laggy.

Also if you can, add a monochrome option. That’s all ! Really nice creation man 🤝

I just tried it, but it shows the html elements in the UI and i couldnt generate the image. The UI looks cool though. But the card animation on hover just seems overkill, hehe - just a personal opinion.

This major update transforms the application from a simple tool into a premium, immersive creative suite. We’ve focused on “digital tactile” feel, visual depth, and a completely redesigned history gallery.

🎨 Visual Overhaul

Dynamic Aurora Backgrounds: The app background now shifts colors organically (e.g., Neon Purple for Cyberpunk, Forest Green for Nature) to match your selected genre.
Glassmorphism & Noise: Added a cinematic film grain overlay and premium glass textures to all cards.
Spotlight Effects: UI elements now feature a “flashlight” glow that follows your mouse cursor, adding depth to the dark mode interface.
Shiny Borders: Borders now have a subtle, moving sheen to highlight the 3D perspective.

Magnetic Buttons: Buttons now have a “tactile” feel, magnetically pulling towards your cursor before snapping back.

🖼️ Redesigned History Gallery

Pinterest-Style Masonry: The history drawer now uses a robust, responsive grid layout that eliminates image overlapping.
Full Portrait Mode: Images are strictly enforced to a 9:16 aspect ratio, ensuring mobile wallpapers are displayed without cropping or stretching.
Smart Overlays: Action buttons (Remix, View, Download, Delete) are now embedded inside the image card.
- Desktop: Controls appear on hover.
- Mobile: Controls are always visible for easy access.

🛠️ New Features

Remix Engine: Added a “Remix” button to history items. Click it to instantly restore that image’s Seed, Genre, and Style to the main generator for tweaking.
Color Palette Extractor: When viewing a result, the app now automatically analyzes the image and generates a palette of 5 dominant Hex colors (clickable to copy).
WebGL Fallback: Added a graceful CSS gradient fallback for devices that do not support high-end WebGL graphics.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Polish

Grid Stability: Fixed an issue where history cards would overlap during loading; the grid now reserves space immediately.
Delete Visibility: Moved the Delete button from the hidden text area to the main image overlay for better accessibility.
Performance: Optimized CSS animations to reduce GPU load on mobile devices.

Thank you for the feedback and the screenshot! I’m glad you like the look of the app.

Since the “Wallpaper created successfully!” message appears, the AI is actually generating the image, but your browser is blocking it from displaying. This usually happens if you have Ad Blockers

Ad Blocker / Privacy DNS: If you are using a strict ad blocker (like AdGuard) or a private DNS on your phone, it might be blocking the domain where the image is hosted.

Could you try these quick fixes?

Try disabling ad blocker or use another browser like chrome
Try opening the site in Incognito Mode to see if an extension is interfering.

I will also double-check the API response on my end to ensure all image URLs are being served over HTTPS.

Thanks for getting back. When you mentioned that, I thought of enabling my VPN and trying again, and it worked. Just like you explained: the site is not blocked and works well, however where the image is stored is blocked in my country unfortunately, I don’t know why.

I am in Turkey.
