Post OS 4.0 update this is happening and getting me irritated beyond belief
I have tried enable and disable, creating a new mode, rebooting the device nothing gets it out of grayscale mode
Interestingly when I switch user profile on the device to get into work apps it goes back to colour!
I am already ordering a new phone from fairphone to replace this device as it has been a total disappointment
Has anyone got a fix for this outside of creating a new user profile (which would be as much hassle as switching to a new device anyway)
Another test was to flip profile and test bedtime mode which is not there at all - replaced with Sleeping mode which worked fine on and off
Tried deleting the Bedtime mode and using the sleeping mode on/off but still gray. This is Stuuuuupiiiiid
Edit: decided to try the new profile idea, interestingly everything was in grayscale during the setup process including the google sign in, it was only after the NothingOS launcher loaded colour returned. More weirdness
Edit: webchat with nothing support, safe mode and cache clear no help, screen recording is in colour, they will not fix it as bought through amazon. Going to try a login to account from a new profile wipe of the device as sending away is not an option. What a pain in the hoop from a stupid update that is not even android!
