I have diabetes (first type) and to not use glucometers I can use sensors which will send the glucose level to phone with “freestyle libre” app installed.
If your sensor broke after a few days of use you can call their support service and ask for a new sensor. But if your phone (such as nothing phone) is not in their list they can refuse to give you a new sensor.
Easy answer: different phones have different nfc chips and in this list you can see devices which will totally not break your sensor.
