Your digital playground. Built by you.
A brochure to get more people to know about Playground, Custom EQs, Camera Presets, Glyph Toys and Essential Apps. All of it told in the Nothing style: straightforward and a bit rebellious, accompanied by playful visuals.

Why did I make it?
I made it for a college project at first, but also with intent to learn more about using programs like InDesign and Affinity. It was my first go at making something like this, so I was thinking of making it Nothing related, because I love their design philosophy and I’ve played around in Figma before using it (like for a files app concept, a different media player for Nothing OS, etc.), so this felt like the right opportunity.

Why a brochure?
Because I think there are much more people that would be interested to try what Playground and Essential have to offer, I was thinking about mainly people who are interested/work already in design and aren’t too knowledgeable about tech brands. And a brochure is simple and approachable by design, tells without over explaining, which is what I was aiming for.

What’s the message I wanted to share?
Creativity is more approachable nowadays. There isn’t much of a need for thorough coding knowledge or clunky ways to share experiences anymore. The user’s needs should be the top priority, and its control over the outcome for them very closely behind. Essential in particular, embodies that perfectly.

How do I wanted to engage with the potential user?
Everything should feel like it is interactive in some way. Buttons, menu-like bullet points, stickers that interact with UI elements, all subconsciously tell the user that Playground is, well… their creative playground.

Would this brochure make a difference?
Probably, at least for the right people. Designers, students, and curious users often respond best to visuals and simple flows. If this brochure pushes even a few people to try Playground or Essential for the first time, I think it’s doing its job.
