KhwaishDave I have been using my Phone 3a for the last 6 months and i can say i am really satisfied with its performance. I play mobile games and i never had a complain with its battery performance. In the last week or so i feel as if the battery is draining more than it used to in the same amount of usage. Maybe it will be fixed in the next update but anyone else noticed/felt this issue. Fir example, for battery saving i have set the charging limit to 90% and in the last 15 mins, it has gone down to 85. I am just using WhatsApp and nothing else…

themountofmint Which other apps are you using? Did you update you phone? Did you use these apps before an update? What’s your usual SOT?
KhwaishDave themountofmint yes i did update my phone to OS 4, other apps are the usual ones, intsagram, chatgpt, perplexity, youtube, spotify, google(most of the time)…. Yes i used these before update too. Avg SOT would be 7-7.5 hrs.
themountofmint KhwaishDave usually Instagram and YouTube are eating battery so “well”, as other community members say. Try to see which app eats your battery more so here’s the issue at my guess
chesu If you don’t mind not getting real-time notifications from these apps, then I would recommend disabling background battery usage for these apps. You can further improve on this by disabling the same setting for all of the apps you don’t actively use everyday. If this still doesn’t work, then it is indeed a problem with the operating system, and you should send Nothing feedback from your settings.
KhwaishDave NirajBasnet lets just hope the devs will work on this….the thing is, i have recommended this phone to each and every damn person i have met just because the battery life made me so damn happy
ThejaswiRamappa It is not only with 3a…same with 2a as well…battery draining by 2 percent within Hour even not used…not sure what update did OS 4 bring to all Nothing phones
Vnk_nothing Try discharging your battery to 0 and charge fully to 100% also wait for 20 minutes extra after reaching 100% Note don’t turn on mobile do charge in switch off mode it worked for me
