If you are planning to leave Nothing where are heading to?

So, I've decided finally to leave the Nothing experiment for good, with great disappointment, but that's not the topic of my post. I believe that there are (many) people leaving too. What brands/devices are you targeting after the bitter experience here? I personally am done with "experimenting" with brands like Nothing and will probably go Pixel or Galaxy.

I hope nothing os 4.0 will be great 😍

Gentleman Maybe it’s different outside India, but it’ll be hard to find any iPhone in the same price range as your NP2 unless it’s old in which case the camera wouldn’t be as great. Pixel a series has great cameras and even ranked higher than iPhones in MKBHD’s blind test video

Gentleman If I had to change my NP2 right now, I would choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.

Good display, good battery, good camera, clean Android, good price.

Bootloader unlocking is a must for me, so smasnug is right out. The pixel looks intriguing, especially with GraphineOS, but otherwise anything that can be unlocked and doesn’t look bad or horribly asymetrical.

For tablets , there nothing above iPad

DimitarGeorgiev Honestly…. Nothing phones I liked very much in the beginning and were quite unique and different, But as time went on, I realized that nothing phones are not made to be used for long periods of time.

Nothing phones have a lot of problems and they don’t even fix them. ( Green tint issue on screen, Software related issues, Camera quality issues, performance issues etc. )

I am a 2A Plus user, when I bought it I thought I would get good AI features, but I didn’t get even that and neither did the important features.

So now I am going to shift directly to iPhone 17 pro, I still like the aesthetics and clean UI of Nothing Phones.

SwayamXO iPhone software is even worse. If Nothing has the number #1 worst software, iPhone is #0 🥀

I left the Pixel ecosystem for Nothing, and Im going back to the Pixel ecosystem.

I know Pixel isnt everyones cup of tea, but being away from it made me realize how much I missed it. I left when stock Android was feeling stale, and NothingOS really scratched an aesthetic itch that I loved. Now that NothingOS is falling into the trappings of so many other OEMs with bland updates and an over-reliance on AI in areas I dont really like, Im going back. With this years Android update, the Pixel is back to being exactly what I want. Not to mention to ecosystem is just…. Better. The only thing Im going to miss is Nothing X. I wish Pixel would have something similar.

Anonymous1155 Pixel doesn’t even have a separate ecosystem. Everything is base android and should work with other brands too

I was really excited when i picked nothing 2a plus rather picking iqoo with better chipsets like iqoo z9 pro, or better camera like honor 200. Now feels like everything about Nothing phone falling behind, but other brands like iqoo with origon os, or oneplus phone are catching up or offering much better. Next phone i am considering nord 5, neo 11 or upcoming iqoo z11 pro

Anonymous1123 I mean ecosystem as in the Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds. Everything does work with Nothing, but it works better with Pixel. Nothing’s lack of even considering a proper smart watch is a weird attitude, and the Pixel Watch has legit changed my outlook on wearables.

The OS experience and camera are the decisive points for me.

Nothing OS is definitely my OS. It almost does everything flawlessly for me.

Downs:

Would have liked better Nothing X integration with CMF watch. No widgets? No pedometer sharing btwn phone and watch?

Watch is also terrible at counting steps. Up to 40% off !!!

Camera app is peeeeerfect. Love it. Cameras on the 3a Pro are also quite good.

Wishes:

Would like to have a nothing phone ultra or mega or whatever, with superior cameras.

Nothing OS for me is virtually a keep. If I were to change, it would be for camera upgrade 🙂

Mr_RatsYT Goodlock has so many cool features it’s hard to list them all. But for me, it’s not worth the bloat cost; I remember a while back 60 gb was used by system on S ultra.

What does Knox do?
