Anonymous1078 i recently got a new bug where the notification was not showing in notification panel but there was the notification element but grey no details. and many bugs regarding the notification. also the bluetooth button takes longer to turn on compared to other brand phones now that I notice.

The error with the log crash comes to me quite irregularly. Now I haven’t had the error for almost 24 hours. Before that, 3x in 1 hour. Just restarted.

But for 2 days I have had the problem that the glyphs don’t always turn off when I open the notification. Then it just keeps flashing until I have either closed all apps with a third-party app (I’ve always used Android Assistant) or I have deactivated the notification history once in the settings and then activated it again. Only then is the flashing off again.

Hi, guys. This “Log tool” issue is really annoying me. It looks like it shows too often. Do we have to wait Google’s security patch or NOS update?

My Phone 3a with Nothing OS 4.0 has this bug as well.
But I think I found a way to band aid it. What you need to do is

Go to Settings -> Apps, find a “Log tool” app
Force stop the app then Clear storage. I repeat, Clear storage not Clear cache.
Check Settings -> System to see if Developer Options is currently enabled or not. If it’s enabled, then disable it. For whatever reason the Developer Options on my phone keep enabling itself. It happened couple of times since I updated to NOS 4.0.
If Developer Options is currently disabled, try enable and disable it.
When disabling Developer Options it should force you to restart the phone. But if it’s not, then restart the phone manually.

Please try disabling logkit using:
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.nothing.logkit

adb reboot

Confirm that it was successful by heading over to:

Settings > All Apps > Log tool

as it should be disabled now.

If desired, you can re-enable logkit using:
adb shell pm enable com.nothing.logkit

adb reboot

Let me know whether disabling logkit stops the crashes for you guys.

Since last night I observed this thing keeps on flashing on my screen. At first I thought its just a simple glitch or due to bad internet, not until today, It appeared multiple times.

I Thought it was just me. 😣

I hope developer could fix this.

On my 3a, the “Log tool keeps stopping” keeps popping up for a split second. I screen recorded it to capture what it actually says. This started happening af the OS updated. Any way to fix this? I tried chatgpt’s suggestions, but nothing fixed the problem
