Official GCam-Like Camera App for Nothing Devices on Play Store

Hi Nothing Team,

Just a small suggestion from a Nothing user.

Many Android users prefer Google Camera (GCam) because of its superior HDR, night photography, and image processing.

Why can’t Nothing provide an official GCam-like camera app on the Play Store, optimized specifically for Nothing devices?

Nothing phones already have good hardware, but better computational photography (HDR, Night Mode, skin tones, consistency) can really elevate the camera experience. An official solution would also reduce dependency on modded GCam ports.

Hope the team considers this as a future camera improvement.

shubhampocof1 If Nothing isn’t able to make a Camera app that works well on its own phones, how can you hope it will make a “Nothing-cam” app to publish on the Play Store??? … this makes no sense!

Because it would probably violate google’s copyright as the app is not supposed to be open source

Or they could just fix their own stock camera so it’s as good as GCam?

Lmc 8.4 is a great app… i forgot the word what it called gcam thingie… you can use different profiles for different phones and set things on your own…

Great app… it’s day and night difference with stock camera app…
