Choosing my First Nothing Phone - Help

Hello guys, is it illegal to join Nothing Community without having a nothing phone/Cmf phone? Welp sorry for joining early, I was planning to buy nothing 3a but my budget is low 13k pesos (222$) but I can’t wait for another month to earn more because I have to use it as a Nursing student, I heard Cmf phone is closer to my budget and it also has essential space that looks good and useful as a Student nurse

Aeace If you are looking for a good Nothing Phone to get, either the CMF Phone 2 Pro or the Nothing Phone 3a Lite will be good for your budget and needs. (Depends on whether the 3a Lite is available in your region). Both have Essential Space, and solid cameras for the price. Both have great processing power and a great screen with 120hz.

3a Lite has the iconic Nothing design on the back and a singular Glyph Light dot on the bottom of the back of the phone. It also is included in the Nothing lineup, which is better if CMF becomes it’s own brand in India. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is modular yet stylish (can be used with accessories via the screwable dial on the bottom of the Phone.

Either way, the best value is for sure the CMF Phone 2 Pro in general. The (3a) Lite is just a reskin of it with a worse camera in my opinion, and the Glyph Light doesn’t really provide that much value with respect to its counterparts (3a/3a Pro)

Im a tech enthusiast and Ill tell u few reasons y u should buy a phone 2

A phone 2 isnt much abt upgrades in the system and UI but more abt raw performance

This chipset in the Phone is a Snapdragon (obviously a good chip as its from snapdragon), to be more detailed, a snapdragon 8+ gen 1, which was a flagship chip from 2022, but still holds up to this date (i have no problems till now using it)

Talking abt the design, it has the geometrically symmetrical design, clean, minimalist and has the maximum potential of the glyph interface with 11 different partitions of lights. U can download 3rd party apps to assign tasks to each glyph.

Battery is 4700 mAh, which is pretty solid for evedyday use

Coming to camera:

Main (wide): 50 MP, f/1.9 aperture, 24 mm lens, 1/1.56″ sensor, 1.0 µm pixel, PDAF and OIS (optical image stabilization)

Ultra-wide: 50 MP, f/2.2 aperture, 114° field of view, ½.76″ sensor

Video recording: up to 4K UHD at 60 fps and 1080p up to 60 fps

Features & modes: HDR, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Advanced HDR, Motion Capture, Panorama, Super-Res Zoom, Expert Mode, Document Mode, Macro capabilities and more depending on software version

The front selfie camera is 32 MP with video recording upto 1080P 60fps

This is very solid for practicing and actually clicking amazing shots

Talking abt the durability, my phone 2 has been thrown 2 times and yet not even a scratch!

Price wise, this is absolutely fantastic

The on downside it has is that essential space isnt available 🥲

Aeace cmf phone 2 pro can be a great value deal you don’t compromise anywhere the chipset is good the cameras am hoping they fix it with the NOS4 update which is coming soon and you get nfc i mean apart from the glyph things and you get everythng that too at great value specially the 2x telephoto camera is v good never faced any issues so far

Aeace Both have same displays,battery and chipset.The only main difference is in the camera the cmf 2 pro has a 50mp main cam,50 mp telephoto and a 8mp ultra wide while the 3a lite has the same except the 50 telephoto is replaced with 2mp macro.So the choice lies with u,do you prefer telephoto or macro.

Aeace CMF has slightly better camera and the other differences are negligible. I personally would pick CMF because it looks better

Aeace alr, if thats the case, cmf 2 pro is a solid choice for a tight budget, real good for the price especially with the features it gives! Im hope it helps!!!
