On mobile, the Nothing community site doesn’t feel very practical to use.
I would redesign it with a mobile-first approach instead of adapting the desktop version. Navigation should be simpler and easier to reach with one hand, ideally with a bottom navigation bar for the main sections like Home, Discussions, Create Post, Notifications, and Profile.
Reading posts should be cleaner, with one main column, better spacing, and less visual clutter. Secondary information like tags or metadata could be less prominent so the content stays readable on a small screen.
Discussions would also benefit from flatter reply threads and clearer reply buttons, as deeply nested comments are hard to follow on a phone.
Creating a post should be quick and obvious, with a clearly visible button and a simplified editor. It would be much more user-friendly to have one button to import photos directly from the gallery, and another one to attach files, instead of mixing everything into a single option.
Overall, the site would feel much better on mobile if it focused more on readability, thumb-friendly interactions, and performance, while staying consistent with Nothing’s clean and minimal design identity.
