I was watching a series on Apple TV+ on my Nothing Phone (3a) Pro around 1 a.m., with the battery at around 35–40%. Suddenly, the phone turned off automatically. At first, I thought the screen had just locked (due to the security timeout feature), but single presses on the power button didn’t wake it up. I then held down the power button for a while, and it booted back on.
Is this possibly related to the Apple TV+ app? The phone wasn’t overheating, and I was using wired headphones. This is the first time it’s happened.
That same day, I had charged it to 100% for the first time in a while. I usually keep it between 15–80% to preserve battery health.
