Hey, everyone! Wishing all a happy 2026 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 4.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard. Some points to note though: • Apart from sharing your feedback here, please consider sending feedback via Settings > System > Feedback, since that's the official way of sending OS related feedback to Nothing. • This thread is not for reporting bugs related to respective models. • Scroll through first to avoid reposting the same suggestion that has already been posted. • Keep it constructive and meaningful so that everyone can resonate with your views. • If you feel connected with a suggestion, feel free to like or react to it to kind of upvote it, thus showing the team how much a particular feature is wanted by the users. Hey nothing community !

I’m currently using nothing phone 3a and I used a Samsung phone once and the bixby rountines feature in that phone was such an amazing and usefull app to automate my tasks throughout the day. Even though there’s an app for that like Google home automation and Google routines I didn’t find them useful as they donot provide any location based automation and they are very limited. So, I would like to request an app for nothing devices to automate our tasks (especially based on location).

Hope nothing.tech finds this post and work on this!

I mean its very obvious feature/function, the hotspot thing should always indicate what devices are connected to it and how much they have consumed the data.

Please bring an update for the same.

Hello, I am sending this feature suggestion because when I was recording something using essential recorder, it automatically stopped after 1 hour. I lost the rest of what I was recording and it was frustrating. Can you please add the unlimited time for essential recorder, or at least the customisation in settings, so we can edit the timeout delay

Dolby atmos is a very very good feature everything becomes surround and immersive. I have samsung a35 and dolby atmos is always on and i think they should include this ♧_♧ 😉■□○

So does anybody think we should be able to customize the color of the clock on the lock screen? The white clock sometimes stand out like a sore thumb on the wallpaper.

I’d like to propose a system-level Reading Mode feature for future versions of Nothing OS. The idea is to simplify text on screen and read it aloud, similar to Samsung’s Accessibility Reading Mode.

*witch I use a lot*

Suggested capabilities:

-Quick toggle or accessibility button

-Text-to-speech reading for web pages and articles

-Distraction-free simplified reading view

-Adjustable voice, speed, and appearance settings

-Works across apps, not just browsers

To my knowledge nothing os does not have this feature. (A system-level “Reading Mode”) a way to turn web pages into audio.

Well a simple suggestion, it’s weird that to show lock screen and to show AOD screen both uses single tap… like what ? Why can’t it be normal like double tap to show lock screen and single tap to show AOD ? I hope this gets more traction and the feature gets added soon
