Hey, everyone! Wishing all a happy 2026 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 4.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard. Some points to note though: • Apart from sharing your feedback here, please consider sending feedback via Settings > System > Feedback, since that's the official way of sending OS related feedback to Nothing. • This thread is not for reporting bugs related to respective models. • Scroll through first to avoid reposting the same suggestion that has already been posted. • Keep it constructive and meaningful so that everyone can resonate with your views. • If you feel connected with a suggestion, feel free to like or react to it to kind of upvote it, thus showing the team how much a particular feature is wanted by the users. Hello Nothing Team,

I am using the Nothing Phone (4a) and really enjoy the clean Nothing OS experience.

However, I noticed that when I enable App Lock for applications like messaging apps, the system hides the notification content and only shows the app icon, even when the phone is unlocked. When App Lock is removed, the full notification content becomes visible again.

It would be very helpful if Nothing OS could include an option to show notification content while keeping the app locked. This would allow users to read message previews from notifications while still protecting the app with App Lock.

Please consider adding a toggle option for this feature in a future Nothing OS update.

My Phone 2a after updating to OS 4 ( Pacman-B4.0-260225-1817-EEA) my phone is discharged in 3-4 hours. What is the problem? When will you fix it?

Please consider adding Arabic letters or Arabic-style fonts to the lock screen time customization so users can display the clock in Arabic.

I genuinely like the concept of Apptimers. But for me it would be a lot more useful if you instead of just setting a fx 3 hour app screen time. Also could just set it so that everyday at fx 20:00 an app gets limited.

Am i the only one who miss this feature?

I’d love to have an Alarm Clock feature to have an alarm that goes off when the Sun Rises.

I’m designing my lifestyle to be more harmonious with nature. I want to rise with the sunrise, but don’t want to have to install an entire app just to have this feature. Integrating this feature into the core clock/timer function of the Nothing OS would be fantastic.

Love the Nothing OS and hope that others would find this useful!

The theft detection is bad and needs fixing i am playing game or doing something and it randomly locks my phone and thinks i am a thief i have on body detection on too . since it can only lock the phone 2 times 🤡 in a day which is utterly RIDICULOUS because what if 2 times it happened with owner and 3rd time its a real thief it wont lock 🥀

also basic android 16 features like icon customisations - shape and colour I believe

battery icons are bad , 4.0 beta was good the current one is unreadable.please add an option to toggle position of the battery percentage number

Are there any plans to add a proper battery health feature (like on iPhone) to Nothing OS?

It would be really useful if they implemented this. I bought a Nothing Phone (1) about 4 years ago, and it would be great to better take care of the battery and extend its lifespan and usability. It would also help when reselling the device.

Also, I’m not sure if this has already been added, but on my Nothing Phone (1) I can’t see battery charge cycles. I’ve seen other users mentioning the same issue. If this feature is already available, please let me know, as the information I’ve found so far is quite unclear.

Making it so when you customise your lock screen widgets you have more options, so widgets for different apps or widgets from the playground aswell as the Nothing widgets. So abit like apple.
