Hey, everyone! Wishing all a happy 2026 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 4.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard. Please add the feature to double tap to lock the screen some times the screen wakes up when there’s a notification but we need to wait for some time to turn of the screen

Its better to have double tap feature to turn off the screen while the phone is locked

So you all know about the music visualization and how it’s only on one light setting. How it’s just stuck on the lights pulsing. The lights need to have other settings like sparkling to make the lights look like they are sparkling.

The Request: Nothing OS needs a native feature to “batch” non-urgent notifications (socials, games, promos) and deliver them only during set time windows (e.g., 8 AM, 1 PM, 6 PM).

The Problem: Currently, even with “Flip to Glyph,” low-priority apps still trigger constant interruptions. This creates noise and defeats the purpose of intentional usage.

The Solution:

App Selection: Allow users to flag specific apps as “Summary” or “Low Priority.”
Scheduled Delivery: These apps stay silent and invisible until the user’s chosen time windows.
Glyph Integration: Instead of flashing for every Instagram like, the phone stays dark. When the scheduled “batch” arrives, the Glyph interface uses a unique, gentle “breathing” pattern to signal that the summary is ready.

Loving Nothing OS 4.0 overall 🤍 Just noticed a small change and wanted to share some feedback.

⚠️ Small UI Issue

Frozen / offloaded apps are no longer fully greyed out in the app drawer.
Now they show a small “download from cloud” icon before the app name.

👉 Please give an option like before, where frozen apps are fully greyed out. It was much clearer and cleaner.

💡 Feature Requests

1️⃣ Freeze / Unfreeze multiple apps at once
Managing apps one by one is slow when you have many installed.

2️⃣ Auto-Freeze inactive apps ⏱️
Example: Freeze bulky apps after 1 hour of inactivity.
This can save CPU, RAM, background processes & battery, especially for apps used only 5–10 mins a day.

These would be amazing quality-of-life improvements 🙌

Hi, I’m a Phone 3a user. The other day I tried to change the font on my 3a, but the android is stuck with default “Roboto” and other only available font is “Inter”. I tried to change the font to “SpaceGrotesk” (The font used for Nothing Community) but it requires to root and unlock the bootloader which wipes all the data and factory reset the phone.

The Nothing devs should add a Custom font option to the font section or the devs should should add NOS suitable fonts. The basic android fonts are boring and these fonts are very similar to other smartphones.

The SpaceGrotesk font is very minimalistic and for the NOS, it is very suitable for it. PLEASE devs consider it for the next update, many users are stuck with it. Please add an option as “Custom” for other downloadable fonts in the fonts section.

Hello Nothing Team,

I really enjoy using the 6× tele-macro mode on Nothing phones—it’s a very unique and powerful feature for close-up photography.

One improvement that would make it even better is a manual focus slider in 6× tele-macro mode. Auto focus often struggles at extreme close distances, and having manual focus control would give creators much more precision and consistency, especially for macro photos

This small addition would greatly enhance the macro experience for photographers and content creators like me.

Skip video to 0:12 often struggle to focus in 6x so I first focus on my finger then transfer it to the object so I request you to add the manual focus slider in 6x telemacro mode

I think some more home screen and lock screen customisations, like depth wallpaper in oxygen OS and iphone, I think they also have to improve and add some features in AOD .

I am cmf phone 2 pro user. Monochrome icons have helped me in reducing wasting time on apps.

I have a feature suggestion for Nothing OS: an option to have apps in the app drawer/slider swap positions periodically. This would create ‘digital friction’ and break muscle memory, helping users avoid mindlessly clicking on addictive apps. It fits perfectly with Nothing’s focus on mindful tech!
