Hey, everyone! Wishing all a happy 2026 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 4.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard. Is there a chance that we can get a tool to filter notifications based on text/patterns?

I’m trying to narrow down my notifications to the ones I really need and a lot of the times apps don’t offer the flexibility I would need for that.

An example would be Instagram where I want to disable notifications for when someone reacts to a message I sent them.

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I looked for apps that do this but:

Sometimes my notifications contain sensitive info that I don’t want to pass through other apps
It feels like something that would work with less friction if it was part of the OS

I’d like the 4a Pro to be able to record in 4K at 60fps.

For the Phone 3 and 4a Pro, I’d like an animation that starts automatically on the Glyph matrix when audio is played.

For all phones, I’d like the ability to switch from standard to telephoto lens once video recording has already started.

We need more customisation options in the future update like other os. I personally like to customise my lock screen and here I am limited like I can’t even move the clock. If possible can they bring depth effect too..it’s really cool

I recently bought the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and wanted to explore all the possibilities offered by the Glyph matrix. Honestly, I found some of the uses quite, if not too, limited. That’s why I’d like to share an idea for improvement, let me know what you think (I won’t talk here about features that would allow users to create their own Glyphs, even though I think that would be a great addition).

Currently, to activate Glyph Toys, you have to enable an option that keeps them permanently active, which unnecessarily impacts battery life as well as the longevity of the LEDs. So I’m proposing a different approach:

Solution 1 (phone face down only)
1 press on the Essential button = displays a Glyph Toy
2 presses = switches to the next Glyph Toy

Solution 2 (phone face down only)
1 press on the Essential button = displays a Glyph Toy (enters a selection mode)
During this mode, the Volume + and Volume – buttons allow you to choose the desired Glyph Toy
Pressing the Essential button again = disables (hide) the Glyph Toys and restores the normal function of the volume buttons

The idea is to use the Essential button contextually, since once the phone is placed face down, it’s barely used anymore (aside from a long press for recording).

I was a pixel user before. So, there was a function named ‘Find Nearby Songs’. It’s basically like display the name of the song which was playing in the surroundings. Is there any option like this in Nothing 4a?

And also sharing random images from any sources without saving the photo. In pixel, by minimizing the app you can just select the photo and save/share.

These are the two major things I am missing in Nothing 4a.

Please add a SD card slot to all of your devices…

Yesterday a f~~~ app kills my 4a from rebooting and i lost all videos and photos - THATS VERY BAD!!!

If i had a slot to store all my camera activities - by default - on a sdcard this problem didnt exists!

So please give all customers a recovery from those “shit things” with a “safe boot” or data save on a sd card!

what about introducing dot matrix type animation while fingerprint unlock in lock screen as well as in app locks while unlocking the app. By maintaining nothing ’s unique dot matrix of dotted style animation

So i recently started using the nothing hone 3a and i really love the phone. I like the UI, app themes and the dark mode. But one thing i would really love for you guys to add is a application similar to good lock in samsung to allow increased customization of the UI (like the keyboard, fingerprint animation, home screen layouts etc.). It would be great if you guys could add it in any of the future updates.

I would like to request the addition of a flashlight brightness adjustment feature in the Nothing Phone 2, if possible. Currently, the flashlight works at a fixed intensity, which may not be suitable for all situations. An option to adjust brightness would improve usability and help conserve battery. Kindly consider including this feature in a future update.
