Volume Slider Lag - help

This has been going on for a while and it’s super annoying, there’s no other apps running in the background either . And no , restarts or resets don’t fix this.

I wouldn’t have made this post if adding videos was possible to the feedback section.

Anonymous1117 I too am faced with this and it’s literally annoying and I made a thread as well. Apparently it’s only laggy for the media volume, try expanding the volume bar and controlling ringtone, notification or alarm. Funny, they are smooth while the media ain’t.

Yep this one, I am also facing, and it is REALLY annoying. So just try dragging the slider with your finger a couple of times, (up and down ) then try swipe gesture and such, Voila ! System completely freezes. And it needs some seconds to recover.

Also as demonstrated in the video you can’t hold the volume bar to set a particular level, cause you can’t see where the bar is during motion, and by the time you stop pressing, you are at max volume.

And guess what, I tried reporting this through system > feedback :

*Sigh*

Hoping this thread gets noticed by atleast one dev.

Edit : apparently a restart fixed the slider for me. Let me know if it got fixed for yall ?

Anonymous1117 I just noticed something else, it’s smooth when increasing or decreasing when you charge and use. Unless it’s just me thing. Please check on your end bud.

Anonymous1117 Glad to see it which means we are definitely having the same issue. The devs from Nothing just needs to check and with a new update, poof goes the issue… I hope.

Apparently before the new update that just came today, my volume bar is already smooth and it mentions about it too so that’s great.

Volume bar doesn’t lag anymore so this problem is fixed!

By the way, have any of you updated your phone yet.. If you haven’t, can you send me the screenshots of what is part of the latest update!! I forgot to take the rest of screenshots cuz I wanted to fix to see if they truly fixed the volume bar. I usually test em to see the new features and bug fixes everytime. Thanks

BatVet1017 That’s great news dude ! Nice. You can always go to the update bot’s posts to check out the changelog .I’m pretty sure it’ll update in a few hours after the rollout

krizxjr Could be the same for me cuz as I mentioned, the slider lag was fixed for me prior to the update cuz yesterday, my phone died of low charge so I charged and booted it up but as I mentioned again before, I used my phone while charging which means the bar is smooth so I never got to test it besides today and guess what, like you mentioned, its fixed but good to see that as a new customer, Nothing focuses on their community as they mentioned in the update regarding the bug fix of the volume bar lagginess.

krizxjr You should look out for an update as it seems to have fixed the issue for @BatVet1017 . I can’t do it anymore as I bought a OP 13R just today , needed the performance lol.

What Nothing phone did you own before the OP 13R? Funny thing, I was gonna buy a 13R myself but then, their huge offer was over which made me think of the OP13 or Nothing3. Now you can guess what I own now!

BatVet1017 Ohh haha I see , it’s definitely a cool phone. So is NP 3.

Before this though I was using the NP 2A Plus, I also used the 3A for a while but my mother liked it so I gave it to her and returned to 2A Plus. Both great phones but , Just not enough juice for me.

اسلایدر صدا به شکل بسیار بدی تاخیر و مشکل داره!

چیکار میشه کرد؟!

چون این آپدیت، آخرین آپدیت سی ام اف بوده یعنی آپدیت تکمیلی یا اصلاح کننده وجود نخواهد داشت؟!

یعنی تا ابد با مشکلات نسخه جدید روبه رو هستیم؟!

Mirel Oh no , that sounds like bad news . But fingers crossed , Hope y’all get a fix.

All we can do now is wait for the next update or change phones ngl.

Mirel Try restarting. For me it worked prior to the recent update for my N3. Hopefully it helps!!
