Is the flip to record available on CMF phone 2 pro and if it is how to enable it

We don’t have the flip-to-record feature on CMF (yet?) however, you can just put the recording widget on your phone or open the Recorder application, start a recording, then when you are done - end the recording hitting the widget again or in the application.

In the recording, hit the share icon

Then in the preview, select Essential Space

This enables you to send your recording to Essential Space for AI Analysis on CMF phones.

Additional pro tip: If you have ChatGPT, you can do this without doing the AI Analysis by tapping in the grey box, after the aforementioned steps, it will give you your transcript of your recording which you can select all to copy/paste into Chat GPT to analyze if you run out of minutes.

Flip to record feature works with all the phone having glyphs in the back so that you know that the recording has started and then you can just set markers in between but sadly CP2P is nothing’s only phone with no glyph so i don’t think so its gonna work. However if you notice this text is shown that flip to record exists but its not working as of now

I personally don’t record things much but I find holding down the essential key is more streamlined. Especially when recording some important things on TV or when someone speaks(only used this for recording instructions for practical exams.).
