Based on your usage stats, YouTube is causing a significant ‘pipe-leak’—accounting for 76% of your app drain. This is likely preventing your phone from entering Deep Sleep.

I am adding these details to a report for the Nothing R&D (Research and Development) Department. In the meantime, please follow these steps to stabilize your battery:

1. Close Hidden Background ‘Valves’

Stop the phone from constantly searching for signals by disabling these settings:

Open Settings > Location > Location Services.

Toggle OFF both Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning.

2. Restrict YouTube Background Power

Until a hotfix is released, manually limit YouTube’s background activity:

Long-press the YouTube icon and tap App Info (i).

Go to Battery and select Restricted.

Please apply these changes and wait for the official hotfix update."

JP bro I have already uninstalled the lockscreen glimpse via ADB since the day I installed NOS4.0 so I don’t know anything about it and I’m not facing any issues with it 🙂

Edit : guys I have send them the last updated mail along with all the log/bug reports and system traces and screenshots and screen recordings now we want to wait patiently….

I disabled lock glimpse through adb and it try to start when screen wakes up/ pressing power button… but this latest update doesn’t make lock glimpse to start continuously in 3 sec intervals … i also removed that power button/screen wake trigger and it doesn’t try to start app now… if you’ve access to pc you can try it ..

Posting this as an early observation after updating my CMF Phone 2 Pro to Nothing OS 4 (Android 16).

According to AccuBattery, Nothing Launcher itself is currently the top battery consumer, even higher than apps like Telegram and YouTube.

The drain rate is noticeably high during normal usage and idle scrolling, which is unexpected for a system launcher.

And also i am not using any playground widgets that could possibly drain my battery this is a serious optimization bugg

I am also attachinga screenshot from accu battery which shows that battery drain rate per hour is the most for the nothing launcher and this is because of the NOS 4 update

CMF Phone 2 Pro, started after updating to NOS 4.

The first seconds of the video are slowed down for you to see what’s happening. When i switch from landscape mode app to the portrait mode app using recent app gesture, it can’t recognize my input correctly. I just try to scroll but it somehow recognizes it as a back gesture, resulting in closing the app. It’s annoying as hell

After updating to Nothing OS 4.0 in my cmf phone 2 pro , I am facing several issues so far.

Widgets are not updating automatically. I checked with weather and battery widgets for the same in lock screen and home screen.
Battery is draining faster to my surprise. In idling condition ,the phone also reducing considerable battery percentage.
Auto brightness is also not working properly I guess. In dark room to light room shifting it is not changing as per condition.

Expecting a solution or advise in this regard.

RD. i also noticed the auto brightness glitch i though i was the only one when in dark it reduces the brightness significantly but does not increase brightness when outdoors have to do it manually
