I have a Phone (3) on Android 16. I have an issue with Google Voice in that an incoming call uses the global Message Notification which is set to “diode”. I want to change it to a true ring tone but it appears on this OS build that is not possible
In Google Voice, I can navigate to, Settings->Manage Notifications->Incoming Call->Sound
This presents the screen that looks like

This screen is the same as if you navigate to the System->Settings->Sound & Vibration->Notification Sound. Changing one will show the change in the other.
So, if I change it from the Google Voice path, it will change the overall System Setting, which means anything that uses the Notification Sound, such as Messages, WhatsApp, etc will use the ring tone I tried to assign to Google Voice.
I also have a Nothing Phone (2) running Android 16 and it navigates to a different screen that allows you to specify a ring tone just for Google Voice

Does anyone know how I can specify a ring tone for Google Voice on Phone (3). If not possible, can this be forwarded to the software team to fix? It doesn’t appear there is a pathway to get a message to them through “Contact Us” on the site.
