It’s important to remember that O in AMOLED is organic and those are carbon-based molecules getting their pi orbitals excited and releasing energy in the visible wavelength when they’re returning to their ground state. There’s a finite number of cycles that any organic molecule can go through and with static images (fingerprint ring) those molecules in those exact microchambers will be heavily used any degrade first.
It’s simply a result of technology employed and nothing to be worried about.
Edit: just use the device to the maximum as it has a finite lifespan that is relatively short and it’s not worth worrying about. I do use an 2008 iMac daily and that LCD still performs well.
