Widget settings, forcing localisation for weather

Hi !
Just bought a CMF pro 2 (cmf and buds pro 2) and i’m setting up my new phone ! very happy about it for now (i had the same old iphone for 8years before now), however some of the widgets are quite frustrating !

For exemple : the weather widget -> i am a user that likes privacy, so i refuse to activate localisation for the weather app (i know where i live, i can type, localisation is therefore not necessary) but it’s very un-intuitive to use that widget when you don’t activate the localisation (i had a hard time finding the settings of the widget, it instead sent me to the settings of the weather app).
But this exemple is not the worse, the worse one is the “quick look” widget !
That widget seem so useful ! however you CANNOT choose to use a specific place for the weather part of the widget ! forcing you to allow localisation (which i won’t do !)

Can someone help me with this ? (or even better, can nothing fix this issue ??)

At least for the regular weather widget, you can apply a fixed location without having it to use GPS. After you added the widget to your homescreen, you see a cog-wheel icon right away to take you to the settings. Tap it, refuse the geo location request and then you can see the option to use a fixed location right away. Just select one and you are done.

You can also have multiple widgets for multiple locations on your homescreen(s).

The Quick Glance widget indeed only seems to work using GPS location. You can submit feedback to the developers and request a setting for a fixed location:

Open settings on your phone -> system -> feedback -> tap that little feedback icon and fill out the form.
