My name is Hrach Mkrtchyan. As a fan of the Nothing aesthetic and a music lover, I’ve designed a concept that brings the tactile magic of analog music to the digital era.
Concept Name: Nothing Phone (V)
Tagline: Spin your soul. Capture the sound.
Key Features:
Mechanical Soul: A functional, rotating miniature vinyl record integrated into the transparent back panel.
The “Core” Camera: A high-quality camera lens hidden within the non-rotating central spindle of the record — ultimate symmetry.
Collector’s Signature: Each limited edition features a laser-etched signature of a legendary artist on the glass.
Engineered for Music: The device focuses on a balanced “Mid-range” hardware profile to accommodate the mechanical drive while keeping the phone sleek.
Glyph Rhythms: LED strips around the vinyl that pulse in sync with the record’s rotation and your music.
I believe this could be the ultimate device for collectors and audiophiles. I’m attaching my original hand-drawn sketch and a visualization of the concept.
