Do you know when the three years of android update starts?

I believe the phone is brilliant, however I feel a bit uncomfortable knowing that after 3 year it will be “abandoned”

By the time support for this phone ends.. somebody will make Pixel Experience ROM for this phone. So yeah, you can use your phone for more years. Mi A1 support ended on Android 9 and was using Pixel Experience till Android 13 and still going on. Same for my Pixel 2 and Pixel 3a XL. After supported ended, I installed Pixel Experience ROM. It even has regular OTA updates. Custom rom communities are such a blessing in the Android world. Always buy a snapdragon and also a popular phone. Custom rom support will be amazing.

hexagonal707x Thanks Hex, the pixel rom could be a valid solution (for techie people). However, if I buy a Nothing Phone 2 let’s say tomorrow, after 2 years I will loose any official company “support”, I found it bit discouraging for the buying compared to the seven year support of Pixel 8 pro (of course not for free, Pixel is more expensive than… Nothing)
