This is a student concept and is not affiliated with Nothing.
As part of a university live brief, I worked on a speculative digital camera concept exploring how Nothing’s design language could translate into a physical, tactile imaging product. The project was developed with feedback from Nothing’s team and framed around design intent and brand thinking.
The design focuses on simplicity and tactility, prioritising physical controls, material-led details, and a glyph-based interaction system over complex on-screen menus. Iteration played a huge role, especially in refining the front-facing details and resolving the balance between visual restraint and functional clarity on the rear interface.
This project pushed me to be more deliberate with decisions and to resist over-detailing, reinforcing how much impact small physical interactions have on perceived quality. It’s been a valuable learning experience in designing with brand sensitivity while still proposing something forward-looking.
