Battery drain — Nothing Launcher showing excessive background usage
My battery is nosediving despite very minimal use throughout the day. Battery stats show Nothing Launcher as the primary consumer.
As of today:
Phone was at 100% at 7:00 AM
By 2:00 PM it’s down to ~60%
Nothing Launcher accounts for ~50% of total battery usage
Roughly two-thirds of that usage is attributed to background activity
I’m considering disabling background activity for the launcher, but I’m concerned about breaking or degrading core phone functionality (widgets, gestures, notifications, animations, etc.).
Has anyone dealt with this and found a reliable fix or identified the underlying cause? Any guidance would be appreciated.
