I spent almost a month on holiday in Bali and took a ton of photos. I’ve narrowed them down to my some of my best shots & a vid, and I’ll share a brief story behind each one.
My first stop in Bali was Canggu Beach, a stunning 10-kilometer stretch of black volcanic sand on the island’s southwest coast. The place was beautiful, and the locals even put on a small show.

Tanah Lot, home to a stunning Hindu temple perched on a massive rock formation that transforms into an island during high tide.

Sanur Beach is known as one of Bali’s most walkable coastlines, thanks to its paved 5-to-7-kilometer promenade that links several beaches and even leads to the Icon Bali mall.

Vihara Dharma Giri is a Buddhist temple known for its massive white Reclining Buddha statue, called Patung Buddha Tidur in Bahasa Indonesia.

Melasti Beach, the only beach I’ve ever swum at, is known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, stunning turquoise waters, and lively beach club scene.

Kuta Beach, perhaps the original tourist hub in Bali, the island’s most accessible destination for shopping, nightlife, and those visiting Bali for the first time.

Discovery Mall is a premier beachfront shopping complex in Kuta, renowned for blending modern retail with traditional Balinese culture. It remains one of the few places in Bali where you can witness a Tari Kecak (Kecak Fire Dance) performance for free right by the ocean.
Besides of that, I highly recommend any pork-based cuisines, such as:
Pork Roll (Babi Guling in Bahasa Indonesia)
Bali’s most iconic ceremonial dish is a succulent spit-roasted suckling pig, generously stuffed with a flavorful spice blend known as base gede.

Pork Satay (Sate Babi in Bahasa Indonesia)
A popular Balinese street food favorite, featuring skewered and grilled pork infused with a flavorful mix of local spices and sweet soy sauce (kecap manis).

Hope these 10 snapshots gave you a glimpse into my journey. Thanks for sticking around until the end!
