I officially picked up the Buds 2 Plus model last October (after the right earbud battery on my previous Pro model completely died – a total loss).
Honestly? I absolutely love them.
It’s no coincidence that 8 of my friends went out and bought these exact earbuds after seeing mine ⬇️
(Yeah, some of them didn’t fit in the picture, but the squad is growing!)

Surprisingly, the removal of the Smart Dial didn’t disappoint me as much as I feared. However, after using them daily for months, I do have some specific feedback.
5 Features I would love to see (The Wishlist)
1. Pinch Controls (Squeeze vs. Tap)
The current method of tapping the top edge of the stem is often uncomfortable and highly unreliable.
The issue: Too often, when I try to execute a “triple press,” the sensor registers it as a double press because I didn’t hit the exact sweet spot. Switching to a “Pinch” mechanic would feel much more premium and consistent.
2. Improved Ergonomics & Comfort
I understand that changing the physical mold is a challenge for Nothing, but long-term comfort needs work.
The issue: After about two or three hours, it starts to hurt. Not to mention, if you happen to fall asleep with them, putting them back in the next day is painful due to the pressure points. A slightly more contoured design would be amazing.
3. Re-engineered ANC + Transparency Mode
Let’s be fair: in this price category, these buds absolutely destroy the competition (even expensive alternatives).
The suggestion: That said, there is room for software refinement. I’d love to see a more natural-sounding Transparency mode and tighter ANC algorithms.
4. Advanced Equalizer
We need a more improved Equalizer with finer control over the audio profile for those of us who like to tweak the sound signature.
5. Audio Sharing (Friends Connection)
Since so many of my friends now own these buds, it highlights a missing feature.
The dream: If a few friends are hanging out and want to listen to the same music or watch a video together, we should be able to seamlessly connect multiple pairs to the same source.
Overall, CMF has a massive winner here. Me and the squad are eager to see how this product line evolves, and we really hope the team considers these points for future updates.
Would love to hear your thoughts—does anyone else feel the same about the controls or the fit? Let’s discuss below. 👇
Keep up the great work! 🔴
