Hello again. Hope everyone is doing well today.

They done it. We have the pink Phone (4a). I will say that it is definitely “pretty in pink”. I love the little nod from the YouTube announcement on how pink is a saturated red and that us guys shouldn’t lose our masculinity over it. That I can agree with.

I do love how they used a perfect shade of pink. Nothing too bright like Barbie Dream House hot pink, or anything too soft where it’s almost white. I think it is a good middle ground of pink. I personally like this jump they made. It’s very unique from its predecessor and speaks to a demographic of users who like pink products. And honestly, it’s making me hesitate on which one I want again. 😅

If you want to buy funky colors, i think they’re planning to do a yellow phone also…I’m sure if that will be 4a or 4a pro… they teased yellow blue and pink…

I personally do like a bit of a monochrome vibe when it comes to my technology and aesthetic, but with a but of color so it doesn’t look dull.

That totally makes sense and I don’t blame you. We still have to see the specs and everything else to understand the phone itself.

Now that you mentioned the yellow phone, it brought me back to the ear (a) with their yellow version. I think that would be a good match for those who own that product.

I personally am indifferent about it.

What gravitated me toward the Phone (3) was the dot matrix itself with its interactiveness and visuals. I love the whole concept of the glyph interface as a way to not stay on your phone constantly. You can keep your phone face down and still know you have notifications coming through because the glyphs tell you.

I do like how subtle the glyph bar is and how unique it is. I also like how the video light makes a comeback as well as its function towards the glyph. However, I was never gravitated towards the lines of light. Who knows. If this phone presents itself as a better opportunity, then I’m all in.
