Hey everyone! Now that the first Essential Lab Student Contest has completely ended (congrats to Thomas, Anna, Tan Tan, Kuber and Omi for winning), I wanted to post a short presentation about my entry, and maybe receive some feedback from you.
Palette TV - A color palette generator with instant HEX code extraction.

To use Palette TV is simpler than it sounds: tap the red button to generate one color palette (either a monochrome, duo tone or three color way can be generated randomly), tap one of the colors to instantly get its HEX code at the bottom left (copy-paste ready), or double tap it to save it in favorites (a menu accessible by pressing the small button) for later use.

Its existence would eliminate the need for using (or at least a need for a heavy reliance on) third-party color palette websites that are a lot of times riddled with ads, need a account to access, or have convoluted menus for just to get a HEX code. I wanted my interpretation to be fast, while also give all the essentials for its simple purpose.
This is the video I made to present the idea of Palette TV and its conception:
What do you think? Would you find yourself using it daily for inspiration or a direct help in your personal projects? Let me know down in the comments, and thanks for reading!
If there is someone who wants to buy a Phone (3) next week, I could give you my 50% discount code I got from being one of the shortlisted people in the contest. I don’t want, nor have the money even with the discount to buy one for myself.
