Below, the transparent glass reveals the inner workings of the device for a glimpse at elements like the battery enclosure. It’s also backed by IP64 protection and submersion support for up to 25 cm for 20 minutes. **💡 Glyph Bar** Phone (4a) introduces a new Glyph Bar with 63 mini LEDs spread out over 6 square light zones. Each square is individually controlled for uniform illumination at up to 3500 nits. Glyph Bar is 40% brighter than the previous Glyph Interface. All while using all new tech to ensure zero light leakage, no yellow edges and smooth diffusion for clear notifications in bright sunlight. The Glyph Bar remains capable for everyday tasks like operating as a soft fill light for photos or videos. Smarter notifications come to life with progress-based cues for calls, messages, charging, timers and more. With the new system, you can capture detail at anywhere between 0.6x to 70x zoom. Powered by TrueLens Engine 4, Phone (4a) is on the cutting edge for AI powered computational photography. Ultra XDR Photos and Motion Photos elevate highlights and shadows for the most natural contrast – and, for the first time, Ultra XDR photos can be shared directly on Instagram. We are redesigning the camera experience for Phone (4a) with new expert-designed camera presets and more finely adjustable professional settings, plus our built in AI Photo Eraser that lets you erase anything you don't want in your image. Do we have any guarantees the Glyph Bar will be developed further or will it be another Glyph Lights situation where we never get anything new?

The Glyph Lights on the 3a has 36 mappable LEDs and could have been used a lot better with stuff like patterns/animations etc

After seeing Nothing OS 4.1 Update on new 4A and 4A Pro series. Now I can’t wait for the update to Arrive on my Nothing Phone 3A Pro. I Hope Nothing Starts rolling out this Update fast to their other Phones to.

GCam already fixes the shutter lag on the 3a, so it’s nothing to do with UFS3.1

I’ve already decided not to buy a 4a anyway as it has the exact same main camera sensor as the 2a and 3a (Samsung GN9)
