Heating issue in CMF Phone 2 pro

I got my CMF P2P about 7 months ago and I haven’t applied any screen protector till now. It was running fine, not a single heating issue (nor even a minute heating issue was there) . But recently when I applied screen protector a week ago, my phone started heating while normally using it.

Why is it so? Is it due to screen protector? Any way to solve it or should I use my phone without screen protector?

Shaurya no .. it doesn’t…it’s hot here in india…summer started… so it’ll definitely get warm with light tasks also…

If it’s getting warm without using it , you should check what apps are running in background…

JP yeah but I think summer has started few days back or may be a week but I had applied the screen guard about 12-15 days ago and that time it was normal temperature.

The heat is quite enough to feel. It’s not normal warm.

Also I have seen some comments on Reddit regarding this and they were saying the same that they’ve also faced the same heating issue after applying screen guard.

Shaurya glass screen protector is very thin and almost doens’t interfere with heat dissipation… and ambient temp is increased…so phones temp will also increase…

Nothing to worry… restart your phone…check if any apps causing heat…

It’s like frequency illusion or red car theory… you don’t notice some things generally in day to day life…but when someone points that thing to you…you start seeing/noticing that…and your mind keep searching for that…
