I’m excited to finally share Agenda, a project I’ve been crafting for a long time. It’s a clean, minimal widget designed to give you a snapshot of your schedule—right from your home screen, in true Nothing style.

Features & Interactions

I wanted to keep the UI clutter-free while packing in high utility. Here is how you can use it:

Swipe the date to cycle through days and preview upcoming events.
Double-tap the date to quickly manage and select your calendars.
Tap an event to jump straight into the details in your default calendar app.

Hey Shaheem, just downloaded this widget on my NP2. It’s a very useful and a great widget I have been looking for. Thanks for the developing this. But there is a tiny problem with the widget while resizing , in NP2 it is not possible to resize to take it up full space, attached the ss, can you please check it will be very helpful as much info can seen from calendar events.

Currently, Essential apps widgets are only available in 2×2 and 4×2 dimensions. The widget isn’t filling the full width of your home screen, is due to the 5-column layout setting. To get a full-width fit, please adjust your App grid to 4 within the Layout settings.

Ohh ok, but we have to let them know about this.

Hi @Shaheem , there is a bug in the widget, I think events are spilling over to the next day when created in the calendar only for current day. Please test once and check

@Shaheem thanks for this usefull widget, this is something i would have liked to build myself when i joined the waitlist last november.
Got a couple of questions/requests:
- is it possible to make the widget adapt to the dark/clear theme used on the phone?
- is it possible to make the widget use the system language and have an option for 12/24 hour display?

I can see that almost all widgets on Essential Playground do not have the ability to change theme and language according to system settings and as i’m still on the waitlist i can’t tinker myself and see if this is something that can be worked on or a limit inerent to the platform.

Anyway thanks for creating and sharing Agenda

Regarding your suggestions:

Theme: Since automatic light/dark mode isn’t supported for Essential apps yet, I’ll look into building those manually with a toggle in the settings.

Language: I haven’t tested it beyond English yet, but I’ll definitely explore system language support.

Time Format: I can definitely implement a 12/24h toggle in a future update.
