ArkoIslam I think the real big issue, really, It is with the cam, I’m not a pro developer and I’m not a frecuently user for this photography apps, since I have the CMF just used a few times cam app, here you are:
I. Front cam (16MP selfie)
- Heavy overprocessing/skin smoothing: Selfies come out plastic-smoothed even with beauty mode off. Final pic doesn’t match preview, Nothing forums confirm it.
- Night mode kills skin tones: Adds yellow/ghost tints. GSMArena calls it out, don’t use it.
- Focus messes up under fluorescents: Blurs your face based on ambient light, not subject.
- Brightness slider lags hard: Gotta swipe it multiple times to respond.
- No front/back switch in video: Locked during recording.
- Liveness/KYC fails: Apps like Mercado Pago hang in limbo, cam sees face but AI won’t validate. Not super documented yet, but I’m AI trainer and there is a bug.
II. Tele 2x (50MP)
- 2x doesn’t trigger tele: Just crops main sensor. Cover main lens, it still previews. Confirmed bug.
- Sucks in low light: Reviews roast it, main sensor wins every time.
- 20x trashed post-NOS 4.0: Long zoom now total noise after update.
III. Main 50MP
- Defaults to 12MP every time: Manual switch to 50MP needed, no save option.
- HDR auto-on sneaky: Fires up without clear notice, turn it off each session.
- Green paint-like softness: 2x zoom or greens = fake textures, color mismatch across lenses.
- Overbright post-processing: NOS 3.2/4.0 burns out shots vs preview.
IV. Ultrawide 8MP
- Dies after 5hrs uptime: Stops working post heavy use, needs reboot.
- Weak quality: Fringing, colors don’t match main.
V. App crashes
- Black screen after 5hrs: Cam goes black/crashes if no reboot, all camera apps affected.
- Crashes on 12>50MP switch: Res change forces close.
- Custom presets break preview: Reopen = black but still shoots.
- Photos ghost in gallery: Vanish temp during processing.
- Gallery reopens closed app: Multitask bug from cam to gallery.
What’s legit busted
Overprocessed selfies, black screen crashes, fake 2x zoom… takes time.
