What will be new in NOTHING OS 4.1 Update?

I have just seen a video in which Nothing phone 4 series have received an update. There were some new cool features. * There was depth wallpaper effect. It basically means where the clock appears behind the wallpaper on the lock screen. * Also blur wallpaper effect. When we swipe up on the lock screen to enter the password then wallpaper becomes blur and that blurred wallpaper becomes the background at that scene. * Merged network signal icon like iphones. When using 2 sim cards, the network signal takes too much wide space of status bar to show their signal. But in latest update they are merged in one small icon. thats it. Expecting these features to come for all Cmf and Nothing phones very soon.

KarlKeppler developer in another thread confirmed it will be coming to other devices in the upcoming WEEKS not months so i don’t expect it to take long. I want a finished product rather than an early release. Considering they just released a new line up of phones, it’s only natural for them (and any other brand) to look at the new models with more priority during launch.

Any camera improvement like 3a is facing problem in image processing it over processed the image and also ultra xdr is giving worst results so these can be fixed in 4.1 any camera improvement?

AyushYaduvanshi_sD5xyDzjFL Users of the N Phone 1 have basically been forgotten, and N Phone 2 users have stopped asking for camera updates that never arrived (I’m one of them). Now everyone is asking for camera improvements on all the latest models, and I think this brand has a chronic problem with camera performance. Every time a new update is announced, people hope it will finally fix things (right now everyone is waiting for OS 4.1), but every time the disappointment returns.

There’s always excitement when a new phone model is revealed, but then the cycle starts again: requests for camera fixes, battery life and much more, just look at the 3a, the Phone 3, and so on. This cycle of hoping that each update will solve the issues has been going on since 2022, and it’s still the same today… I’ll leave you to reflect on that.

I think ur right nothing is just giving the attention to new one and the camera improvement is just a myths if they will provide camera improvement then what’s the reason of shifting to 3a to 4a just for a little bit more performance and battery but they should have to improve camera processing by software update now a days only 10 out of 2 photos are coming good

I still own a Pixel 2xl which reliably outperforms my 3a pro camera, it consistently delivers. So my question is, if the Nothing team are struggling, why doesn’t Carl poach one or two technical staff from google to sort out the camera issues?

JP Actually it’s not the default gallery thank god, Google Photos is. I think the only users that make the Nothing Gallery default are users from India…everywhere else its Google Photos

KarlKeppler yup… it’s few number of people who want some perticular feature in the app they use…

that’s not even a problem… the main problem is that people want to “de google” their Android phones🙂 and don’t want to root their phone…

I think the interface ofIn my opinion, the Google Photos interface is too cluttered and inconvenient, and it’s true that I have to give up features when I prioritize the company’s gallery, but I prefer it this way

lolifnotely That’s fine and agree with you, but I think to actually perform any kind of editing and automatic online backup, it has to be Amazon or Google photos, I like to keep my device personal data/clutter free at all times if/where possible
