Rear Camera Lag on WhatsApp – Nothing Phone (4a Pro)

Hi everyone,

Just got my Nothing Phone (4a Pro) today and noticed something odd. The rear camera on WhatsApp is lagging a lot and dropping frames — the preview feels very choppy.Interestingly, the stock camera app works perfectly fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Any fixes, settings tweaks, or updates that helped?

Yes, I am facing the same issue. The rear camera has frame drops and jittery issues while using third-party apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Furthermore, there is a lot of colour shift in all three cameras. I can say there is a lot of inconsistency across all three camera lenses even in the stock camera app. So, I don’t know when there will be a fix for these issues. And I think people who are comparing it with the iPhone and Samsung S series are paid reviews because you can’t compare the phone 4A Pro with any of these fantastic devices.
