Hi there, I’m Billy and I’ve been testing the Nothing Phone (4a) As part of the Community Review Programme! This is my Final Review and Opinions on the device and my overall experience
Cameras
Nothing Phone (4a) Features a Main - 50mp 3.5x Zoom Sensor that captures amazing crystal clear photos and works in all settings. I’ve genuinely had a blast using the camera system and exploring the new watermarks in the gallery app.

Display
The 6.78” flexible AMOLED Display Reaches 4500 Nits and 120hz and it’s more than usable for daily activities and super viewable in outdoor settings, video content is clear and makes for a great portable viewing option for on the go movie watching.
Performance/Gaming
The Nothing Phone (4a) Has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 and performance has been very solid for the price point. Social media scrolling, video consumption and gaming has no issues. High AAA titles will see a impact so if you are looking to play more demanding games, you may want to look at the (4a) Pro however some games like red dead redemption played fine and looked more than expected.
Software
Nothing OS 4.1 running on Android 16 makes this the cleanest UI experience I’ve ever used, I love the essential apps and being able to customise with more freedom, essential space is also more helpful than ever. Overall, a top of the class UI on a budget phone, it doesn’t get any better.

The battery last me a full day with no sweat, charging speeds are fast enough to be able to top up in a hurry with no issues.
Design
The (4a) Has the classic nothing see though layout from older models and showcases the layers of materials and internals in a way only nothing can show off. This is the phone to get if you still want that experience you come to love however if you’re looking for something new and want to experience the feature of nothing, the (4a) pro is the better option.
Final Opinions
Overall, this is a device at only £349 that I can highly recommend to anyone who is looking at something that screams different and fun. Everything about this phone is solid and just works. I’ve enjoyed being able to test this device and being able to experience the newest product from nothing.
If you’re in the market for a overall package that just does everything you want it to do, this is the phone for you.
