I purchased the 12GB + 256GB version for my wife. The camera and video quality are quite basic. There is a significant inconsistency across all lenses and zoom levels. Even after paying ₹45,000, the performance and battery life are average. I am primarily disappointed with the camera quality and am uncertain whether any software updates will be released to address these issues. This is not a true pro version and I would advise against making a hasty purchase after spending ₹45,000, as the experience is quite average. Additionally, software support will only be available for three Android versions.

Does anyone else have experience with extremely low microphone volume on the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro?

Before this, the microphone volume was so incredibly low that even when I turned the volume up to 100%, I could barely hear anything. After restarting the phone multiple times, the sound improved slightly, which leads to what you see in the attached videos.

The first video shows the normal sound from the media I heard. Inside the screen recording, you can see that the sound on Instagram and TikTok is now back to normal. The native Camera app is better than before, but the volume is still dropping.

Because of this, I contacted Nothing Support, and as you can see in the email screenshot, they recommended a factory data reset as a last resort. I have already backed up my data and performed the factory reset, but the issue still persists and remains completely unchanged.

Is anyone else experiencing this same isue?

Does anyone have any problem with the cam ?? I can’t take pictures on time, sometimes the shutter doesn’t works I need to restart the app to take a pic😐, this makes the experience kinda bad… i can’t take pic suddenly and not continuously too I have to wait for it to load or process, if there is any fix please share.. Thankyou in advance.

As someone who switched from Zenfone 9 to Nothing Phone 4a Pro, i didn’t expect a big leap in camera performance, but so far i do think they are mostly good to use for daytime.

However, when i tested it to shoot photos in night time, i noticed that the periscope camera night mode only triggers from 3.5x to 6.9x zoom, whereas anything more than that, it didn’t trigger night mode at all. I tried to switch to night mode and it’s the same as auto night mode (not triggering beyond 7x zoom). Also, i was expecting some settings on night mode like changing the exposure timing (because the Zenfone 9 does have this), but im not sure is this the hardware limit or just the software not coded for this. Hopefully someone know about this stuff and explain to me on what’s happening beyond 7x zoom. Thanks for your time reading this post.

When I use 0.6X the camera click button is working fine but when i move to 2X 3X and further then sometimes it works and sometimes not.

So i have to reopen the application and it start to work for a few clicks and again same thing happens.

Is it with me or someone else also have this issue? @

Almost every time I take a picture, the first photo is captured successfully, but immediately afterward the shutter button becomes completely unresponsive for around 5-6 seconds. During this time, tapping the shutter button has no effect, so I can’t capture another photo until the camera responds again.

This happens almost every time I use the camera in Photo mode and makes it difficult to capture consecutive shots or moving subjects. The delay significantly affects the overall camera experience.

I don’t use Portrait mode frequently, so I’m not sure whether the same issue exists there. However, I have consistently noticed this behavior in Photo mode.

Same issue here.

Very much frustrated with this.

This is the worst issue.

The workaround is you need to close all apps in the background and open camera, most of the time this works but I don’t like doing it.

I will wait a week and will sell this off.

How can a phone company give this bug it’s very severe. Im fed up.

Same here the camera shutter button doesn’t work almost every time the first photo is also not clicked some times the button just freezes but video works it is only with the photo mode it is very frustrating i did not bought the nothing phone 4a pro for camera but for the experience but still nothing camera app has failed my expectations this is a major bug and irritated me most of time when I try to click some important pictures
