I find the voice memo function of the essential space really useful when I’m driving. I often use it to ‘tag’ locations or things I’m driving past so that I can visit them again in the future or look them up, or find them on Google maps.
Two things would improve my experience with this:
- If location tags were added to the recordings so I could go back and see where I was when I recorded the memo like we have with photographs
- If I could record directly to the essential space without using my phone
I’ve checked my Nothing earphones and they don’t have an option to customise the controls to add voice memos and pressing the essential key while the phone is locked isn’t an option either.
I’d like the Nothing team to consider a solution for this so I can stop (illegally) using my phone while I’m driving 😬
