Zac 🛸 Thank you for the official response, but I have to point out a major factual error in your statement. Google absolutely releases Android security patches every single month without fail. We are already past the middle of April, and Google has already rolled out their April security patch. Stating that Google does not provide monthly updates is simply not true.
We saw this exact same pattern happen recently. Nothing rolled out an update for the Phone 3 around February 24th, but it completely failed to incorporate the February security patch. Because of that track record, I strongly fear the same thing is going to happen again. We will likely get an update in late April that only includes the outdated March patch.
What makes this situation really embarrassing for the brand is the CMF Phone 1. That budget device received a software update on March 15th which actually included the March security patches. How can a budget phone get better update priority than the flagship Phone 3?
For the wellness of the brand, Nothing needs to own up to these delays instead of giving the community incorrect facts to dress up the mistakes. We just want clear timelines and the premium software support we paid for.
