Claude hearing itself on Nothing Phone 3 (but not CMF Phone 2 Pro)

I use Claude as digital assistant. It works fine on CMF Phone 2 Pro. But I just bought a Nothing Phone 3 and on this phone Claude hears itself and so is constantly interrupting itself, transcribing its own voice as if it is hearing me.

Has anyone else had this issue?

teqteq I have the same issue, OnePlus 10 pro user, but I have the exact same thing in the Claude app, It starts talking and then hears it’s own words and writes them down again as if though I am repeating after it. Did you find a solution?

no I also hv the cmf phone 2 pro and I have faced 0 issues maybe check your environment it may echo or try headphones or headphones

Rishik Iyyappan CMF 2 has no issues. It’s Nothing Phone 3 that has the issues.

Of course headphones will solve it - it won’t be able to hear itself. But not a solution.

Rishik Iyyappan oh it’s not the environment. It’s everywhere and instant. Normally a phone will cancel our sound from itself so there is no echo on phone calls etc. For some reason only with Claude this isn’t happening on Nothing Phone 3.

teqteq if that is the case then maybe your mic is glitching I think claude is sensitive so I think that is why this occurs on the phone 3 has 3 mics and phone 2 pro had only 2 which might have been more precise. Anyways all the best I hv tried my best to solve your issue. Its the community to solve it now

victor_zhmud no. I keep meaning to report it to Claude. I think it’s a bug in the Claude app. I saw others on Samsung phones having the same issue as well.

For the time-being I changed it to push-to-talk instead of free conversation.
