After using the Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro, here’s my concise community review:

Performance & Display: The (4a) has a 120Hz 1600-nit AMOLED display and Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 processor. The Pro steps up to a blindingly bright 144Hz 5000-nit display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

Build: The (4a) retains the signature transparent plastic frame (which holds up flawlessly caseless), while the Pro has a premium aluminum unibody. Note: The Pro’s camera array creaks slightly when wiped clean.

Features: Both deliver stellar battery life, clean software, and a rare 3.5x optical zoom, but skip wireless charging and full water resistance. Both also work perfectly on T-Mobile, despite lacking official US carrier certification.

Verdict: The standard Phone (4a)'s the undisputed best value. The (4a) Pro ($499) is barely an upgrade and priced dangerously close to the $599 (on sale) flagship Phone (3). If you’re looking to upgrade, the regular (4a)'s the perfect mid-ranger—otherwise, skip the Pro and jump straight to the Phone (3)!
