If you don’t like reading complaints, just move on. I need to vent somewhere, so where else but here?
It’s been 2 years and 1 month since I got my Nothing Phone (2). Unfortunately, it suddenly started crashing and now shows “NOTHING CrashDump Mode.” Of course, a factory reset didn’t help. It’s been a month since the warranty expired (of course), so the repair will cost at least two-thirds of the phone’s value.
No one can convince me that it’s not a coincidence that it broke down right after two years. If you search for this issue online, people are openly saying that the (2) breaks down right after two years, after the warranty expires.
I’m just wondering, from a product management perspective, where’s the profit for Nothing here? We know well that I’ll buy a new phone and won’t pay that much money for repairs. We know well that I’ll never buy anything from Nothing again. We know well that I won’t recommend any Nothing products to anyone and will badmouth them online. Where’s the profit for Nothing? Surely not from repair revenue.
Anyway, my friends kept telling me that this phone is some weird gimmick and invention and asking why I chose Nothing. I said it had a cool design, a different approach, it’s great. And of course, I was wrong.
Thanks, good luck, and best regards.
