I’ve been using my device extensively and wanted to share a few issues and suggestions that I believe could significantly improve the overall experience:
1. Glyph Interface (Uber Integration)
After starting an Uber ride, the Glyph progress bar doesn’t update correctly throughout the journey.
It seems like a glitch where the progress isn’t synced with the ride status.
2. Optical Fingerprint Scanner Behavior
When the screen is off (completely blank) and the phone is charging, the fingerprint scanner doesn’t respond.
I have to wake the screen first before it recognizes my thumb. This feels like an unnecessary extra step.
3. Notification Panel UI Glitch
4. Heating While Charging
There’s noticeable heating during charging.
While fast charging does generate heat, I feel this could be optimized further for better thermal management.

Custom Widgets for Users
- Any updates on when users will be able to create their own custom widgets? This would be a huge addition to personalization.
Smart Performance & Battery Optimizer App
- It would be great to have a dedicated Nothing app that:
- Learns user charging patterns and suggests optimal charging ranges (e.g., 20–80% cycles)
- Identifies unnecessary background apps and recommends shutting them down
- Provides actionable insights for improving battery health and performance over time
This could align perfectly with Nothing’s minimal yet intelligent design philosophy.
